Mackerel - 2
Shallots - 10
Green chillies - 4
Ginger - 1 inch piece
curry leaves - 1sprig
salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method:
- Make a paste of shallots, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and salt
- Slit the mackerel and stuff the paste
- Rub the remaining paste on the fish and keep it aside for half an hour
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the marinated fish
